“Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said” (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).
Lots of people saw Jesus after His resurrection. They spoke about it and shared it with others. Eventually, people started writing down the miracle they had witnessed. Jesus was dead. Now He was alive! The resurrection led people who loved Jesus to start gathering together. It is because of the resurrection that the early church began.
