“When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, for he taught with real authority—quite unlike their teachers of religious law” (Matthew 7:28, 29).
When Jesus grew up, He spent a lot of time teaching people. He would tell stories in towns, on mountaintops and beside the lake. He told stories to small groups of people and large crowds, to rich people and poor people. He also blessed little children who came to visit with Him. Through these stories, Jesus taught the people who He was—the Son of God. He also taught them how to live.
